The Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) is seeking a Radio Team Coordinator within the Directorate of UK Technical Maritime Services (UKTMS). The role supports the Radio Team, responsible for ensuring UK vessels are equipped with reliable, compliant radio and navigation technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Management of the coordination, assessment and approval of Ofcom applications for non‑operational innovation licences (e.g., drones) and radio frequency jamming exercises within agreed deadlines.
- Development of risk assessments and collaboration with external Technical Advisors to evaluate maritime radio‑interference risks, supporting a new system for assessing and mitigating impacts from military exercises and new UK transmitters.
- Coordination and facilitation of internal and external meetings, overseeing logistics, developing agendas, preparing briefing materials, providing secretariat support, and ensuring clear tracking and delivery of actions and outcomes.
- Support the organisation and delivery of international engagements, including IMO meetings, by maintaining decision trackers, organising documentation, and contributing to early drafts of briefing papers.
- Manage financial processes, including processing invoices and producing accurate monthly finance returns, accruals, prepayments, and budget submissions.

- Confident using Microsoft Office tools, particularly SharePoint and Excel.
