The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced E-Learning Content Designer to join our busy LMS team and support the creation, refinement, and ongoing improvement of high-quality digital learning content across multiple projects. This role sits within the learning resource team and works closely with learning designers, product, marketing, and tutors to deliver content that aligns with team priorities, brand standards, and learner experience goals. You'll be hands-on with existing assets, enhancing and maintaining content to ensure it is engaging, accessible, accurate, and production-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Design & Build
- Design, build, and update e-learning content within our LMS
- Adapt existing content and media assets to meet learning and platform requirements
- Use Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop; Illustrator a plus) to create and refine learning materials
- Ensure content aligns with learning objectives, team priorities, and brand guidelines
- Act as a proficient proofreader, ensuring content is clear, consistent, accurate, and error-free
- Maintain high standards of quality, accessibility, and usability across all learning materials
- Collaborate closely with learning designers, subject matter experts, product, and marketing teams
- Manage multiple pieces of work while meeting agreed timelines and priorities
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience designing digital learning content for an LMS or online learning environment
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop (Illustrator a plus)
- Experience adapting and refining existing content rather than creating everything from scratch
- Excellent proofreading and editorial skills with high attention to detail
- Clear understanding of learner-centred design principles
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload independently
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Rise, Storyline, or similar)
- Comfortable working embedded within a team and responding to changing priorities
Preferred Experience
- Experience with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
- Understanding of instructional or learning design principles
