We are now looking for a Senior Furniture Consultant to shape furniture proposals and guide clients across a variety of projects.
The Role
You will report to the Head of Furniture and lead furniture consultancy for allocated projects. You will create detailed specifications, advise clients, manage procurement, and oversee delivery to ensure every scheme reflects its design intent.
What You'll Be Doing
- Create clear furniture specifications aligned with project designs
- Present proposals and provide informed guidance to clients and internal teams
- Source suitable imagery to support design and cost plans
- Keep up to date with new furniture ranges and industry trends
- Prepare cost plans, drawings and finishes schedules to agreed deadlines
- Liaise with manufacturers to obtain accurate quotations and secure best value
- Produce finishes schedules for client approval
- Manage Purchase Orders, checking confirmations against signed contracts
- Coordinate procurement, deliveries and installation information with project teams
- Provide regular updates on order progress
- Support clients with aftercare and additional furniture requests
What We're Looking For
- Experience in furniture sales or consultancy ideally within workplace, contract furniture or interior fit-out sectors
- Strong technical understanding of furniture across the portfolio
- Deep understanding of furniture markets, industry movements and client needs
- Excellent attention to detail with a solutions-focused attitude
- Professional and confident when meeting clients daily
- A positive, supportive approach to working with the wider team
