At Sovereign Court Care Home, we’re seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our bank team and help make a real difference to the lives of our residents. If you’ve got experience in care and have previously supported or supervised a team, this could be the perfect role for you.
What the role involves
- Supervising and supporting your team with training and guidance to ensure they excel in their roles.
- Delivering Quality Care: Assisting residents with personal care needs, always upholding dignity, respect and privacy.
- Care Planning: Ensuring residents’ care plans are comprehensive, up-to-date and consistently followed.
- Medication Management: Dispensing medication accurately and maintaining detailed records.
This role requires a mix of practical care and supervisory responsibilities, so you’ll need to feel confident managing multiple tasks while keeping residents’ wellbeing at the forefront.
What makes you the ideal candidate
- Has experience working in a specialist mental health facility or similar environment.
- Has experience supervising and mentoring a team (preferred).
- Holds a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or is committed to achieving one).
