Role Overview
As a general guide you will prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals, providing special dietary requirements where necessary for residents.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals, including special dietary requirements for residents.
- Maintain accurate records and order food supplies as required.
- Check deliveries and ensure all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately.
- Clean the kitchen, dining areas and all equipment to statutory Health and Safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a care home kitchen.
- Level 2 or Level 3 catering qualification, or equivalence.
- A commitment to undertake further training and development relevant to the role.
