General Assistant in Harrogate

Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour

Location: The Grove Lodge and Courtyard, Middlesborough

Contract: Permanent, 17.5 hours per fortnight to be discussed

We’re looking for a friendly, adaptable and reliable General Assistant to join the team at The Grove. You’ll play an important part in the smooth day‑to‑day running of our home, and under the guidance of colleagues, you’ll be supporting different departments depending on need. This may include:

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping – working as part of a team, you will ensure all areas of the home are clean and tidy in line with our cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Laundry – you may be asked to assist the laundry team, to ensure a high‑quality service for our residents.
• Catering – we may ask you to help our kitchen teams with food preparation and the serving of meals.
