Qualifications Required: Ideally, you will have food hygiene certificate and a Level 2 catering qualification or equivalent (or a commitment to undertake further training and development, relevant to the role), Mariposa Care has an opportunity available for a Catering Assistant to join the kitchen team in our friendly care home, The Old Prebendal House. We're on the lookout for someone to support the Chef with food preparation, cleaning and storage, ensuring different dietary requirements are met where necessary, assisting in maintaining accurate records and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You'll support with the washing of crockery and cutlery and other associated items/equipment by hand and/or by using equipment as required. Ideally, you will have worked in a care home kitchen before but if you haven't, you'll still have experience of food preparation and kitchen cleaning in a commercial environment.
