Qualifications Required: Ideally, you will have a food hygiene certificate and a Level 2 catering qualification or equivalent (or a commitment to undertake further training and development, relevant to the role).
Mariposa Care has an opportunity available for a Catering Assistant to join the kitchen team in our friendly care home, The Old Prebendal House. We’re on the lookout for someone to support the Chef with food preparation and storage, ensuring different dietary requirements are met where necessary, assist in maintaining accurate records and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Ideally, you will have worked in a care home kitchen before but if you haven’t, you’ll still have experience of preparing and serving creative, high quality and nutritious meals in a commercial environment.
