Marine View Lodge Care Home is a modern, purpose-built 80 bed care home in New Brighton, Merseyside. Our 80-bed home provides residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in a warm and compassionate environment. Here, we believe residents deserve not just safety and clinical excellence, but dignity, comfort, and genuine human connection.

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you’ll play a central role in making that happen. This is a leadership role where you can truly make a difference. This is a home where your voice matters, where your clinical judgement is respected, and where you’ll work alongside an experienced Home Manager and a supportive senior team who understand that great care starts with great leadership.

This is more than a clinical role; it’s an opportunity to lead, support, and shape the quality of care every single day.

What you’ll be trusted to do:

  • You’ll lead from the front, creating a culture where clinical excellence and kindness go hand in hand.
  • Your responsibilities will include supporting and developing the nursing team, overseeing care planning and clinical governance, ensuring the safe delivery of complex care, and helping maintain a home that is always inspection-ready.
  • You will divide your time between hands-on nursing and protected supernumerary hours, as well as being part of the on-call rota allowing you to guide the team, strengthen clinical practice, and ensure the home continues to deliver safe, responsive, and person-centred care.
  • You will be the clinical anchor of the service supporting nurses and carers, overseeing care standards, and working closely with the Home Manager to maintain compliance with the Care Quality Commission and continuously improve the service.
  • Your presence will be visible, supportive, and reassuring to residents, families, and your team alike.
  • You will deputise in the Home Manager’s absence, providing stability, confidence, and leadership.
  • Your influence will help shape standards, strengthen practice, and support the continued success of the home.

What we offer in return:

  • £55,000 per annum
  • NMC Paid Pension scheme
  • Paid DBS
  • Uniform provided
  • On-site parking
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
  • Ongoing training, development and career progression including access to the Leadership Programme.

Who this role will suit:

You’ll be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with experience in elderly care and a genuine passion for leading others. You’ll take pride in high clinical standards, feel confident supporting complex care needs, and enjoy mentoring and developing your team. You’ll bring calm leadership, sound clinical judgement, and a natural ability to build trust with residents, families, and colleagues. Above all, you’ll care deeply about your profession, your team, and the people you support.

Marine View Lodge Care Home is part of the Care Concern Group, a family-owned provider with homes across the UK. Our values: Trust, Respect, Passion, Kindness, and Inclusivity, are not just words. They shape how we lead, how we support one another, and how we care for every resident. This is a place where leadership is appreciated, where your contribution is recognised, and where you can build a career with purpose.

If you’re ready to step into a role where your leadership will truly matter, we would be proud to welcome you.
