Marine View Lodge Care Home is a modern, purpose built 80 bed care home in New Brighton, Merseyside, delivering high quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care within a warm, supportive and person centred environment.
£12.81 per hour
Contracted to 40 hours per week

Role Overview
As Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the home remains safe, well maintained and comfortable at all times. This is a hands on and varied role where your practical skills and attention to detail will have a direct impact on the environment and daily experience. You will carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, basic electrical checks, installations and general upkeep. You will ensure equipment and systems are working safely and efficiently, responding promptly to issues and supporting planned maintenance. Working independently and alongside the wider team, you will follow health and safety procedures, support compliance checks and help maintain a well organised, safe and welcoming environment.
Qualifications and Key Requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role
- Basic knowledge of general repairs, electrical and building maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
