The Opportunity
We are looking for Night Porters to join our distinguished front office/reception and concierge team at the Marine Hotel Troon to deliver an outstanding welcome and experience to our guests. Reporting into the Rooms Division Manager you will be responsible for:
- Welcoming guests by focusing on empathic service in accordance with Marine & Lawn standards
- Being imaginative in your approach to sharing local knowledge and expertise for our guests
- Maintaining positive working relationships across all functions within the hotel
- Actively promoting hotel facilities and participating in Front Desk Upsell programme
- Keeping front office area clean and organised
- Delivering seamless service by taking ownership of all guest affairs and queries, including check-ins, check-outs, requests coming in through telephone, email and text message, billings, etc.
- Conducting safety and security checks of the property at night
We have flexible contracts available, perfect for students or those who have family/other commitments or are looking for a role with regular but not full-time hours at night.
