Marine Resources are recruiting for a full time permanent Yacht Mast Assembler to be be based in Fareham, Portsmouth.

My client are the world’s leading yacht and dinghy mast maker, now has the following opportunity to join their composites production team based in Fareham.
Purpose of the Role
To build and assemble yacht masts according to Bill of Material (BOM) instructions and supporting technical drawings, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy throughout.
Key Responsibilities
Measure and mark out positions for fittings and fixtures.
Prepare for routering, cutting, drilling, riveting, etc., by accurate marking.
Assemble and secure parts according to BOM using a range of hand and power tools.
Raise and report any conflicts with BOM instructions.
Fit conduit, hydraulics, and wiring as required.
Join mast sections and undertake rigging tasks as necessary.
Move rigs between departments.
Check own work and support quality checks for other team members.
Maintain attention to detail and product quality.
Participate in stock takes.
Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Take on additional duties within scope of ability when reasonably instructed.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
Proficient in using a wide range of hand and power tools.
Experience in measuring and marking out.
Comfortable working as part of a small team.
Ability to read and follow BOM instructions and technical drawings.
Previous assembly work experience.
Basic computer literacy.
Desirable:
Experience in yacht or dinghy mast building.
