Boatyard is currently working with a well-established marina operator on the South Coast who is looking to recruit a Boatyard Operative. You will be involved in boat movements, marina support, customer service, site maintenance, and ensuring the facility is presented to a high standard at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with boatyard operations, including boat movements and lifting activities
- Supporting customers on pontoons and within the marina environment
- Providing assistance in the marina office and reception when required
- Carrying out general maintenance and upkeep of the site
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation throughout the marina
About You
- A positive, customer-focused attitude
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to a varied workload
- Able to learn and use computer-based systems
- Previous boating knowledge or experience operating plant machinery would be advantageous, but is not essential as full training can be provided
Additional Information
This role involves working outdoors throughout the year and operates on a shift pattern covering a 7-day operation. Weekend and bank holiday work may be required.
