Our client, a long-established designer and manufacturer of high-quality power conversion and connectivity solutions, is expanding its presence within the marine industry. We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead growth across the marine side of the business with the portfolio of products that includes DC-DC converters, USB charging solutions, and power management systems engineered for demanding marine and offshore environments.

About the Role

You will take full responsibility for developing and managing sales within the marine sector building strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and system integrators, while identifying new opportunities across both commercial and leisure marine markets worldwide. Working closely with internal engineering and marketing teams, you'll combine technical insight with commercial drive to deliver robust, practical solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the marine sector sales strategy in line with the company's growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with boat builders, electrical system suppliers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers on product selection and application requirements.
  • Identify new opportunities in emerging technologies and evolving marine power applications.
  • Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and customer visits across the region.

About You

  • Proven track record in technical sales or business development within the marine sector.
  • Strong network of contacts across OEMs, integrators, or distributors in the marine sector.
  • Technically minded, with solid understanding of marine electrical systems and DC power solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, innovative team.
