About the Role:
Join our client in Southampton for a 6-month stint as a Supply Chain Technical Product Manager. You’ll help align supply chain strategies with product development in the luxury yacht industry.
What You’ll Do
- Strategy & Planning: Work with engineering and procurement teams to match supply chain goals with product plans. Manage a Request for Quotation (RFQ) tracker focused on costs.
- Teamwork: Coordinate with teams across design, sales, marketing, and operations for smooth product launches. Help design teams with cost-effective and functional product features.
- Supplier Relationships: Pick and manage manufacturers, ensuring specs, installations, and warranties meet standards. Build strong supplier partnerships, onboard new suppliers, and ensure quality compliance. Work with suppliers to improve products and reduce costs.
- Problem-Solving & Leadership: Guide teams on product design, architecture, and user experience. Analyze issues in the supply chain and find actionable solutions.
- Monitoring & Risk: Track product performance and drive improvement. Evaluate and manage risks tied to supply chain processes.
