The Role
- Sourcing, evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost and delivery performance
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure contractual compliance
- Negotiating pricing and commercial terms with vendors
- Creating and issuing purchase orders
- Updating internal systems with order details including dates, quantities and discounts
- Tracking order progress to ensure timely delivery
- Verifying goods received against purchase documentation
- Supporting the wider team with additional duties as required
