Marina Operative – Swanwick Marina Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off (mix of day and night shifts) Love being by the water and working outdoors? This could be the role for you! We’re looking for a Marina Operative to join the team at Swanwick Marina. This is a varied role where no two days are the same – from supporting berth holders and visitors, to keeping operations running smoothly around the clock. What you’ll be doing: Delivering excellent customer service and being the friendly, first point of contact for marina users. Supporting safe and efficient daily operations, indoors and outdoors, in all weathers. Handling a mix of day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, to keep the marina running 24/7. Using IT systems to manage marina activity and maintain accurate records.What we’re looking for: Proven customer service experience with a professional, “can-do” attitude. Ability to stay calm under pressure, work independently, and as part of a supportive team. Confidence with IT systems (training will be provided). Knowledge of boats and the marine environment is desirable but not essential – enthusiasm and willingness to learn are what matter most.Why join?
