Our client is seeking an experienced Marina Coordinator to take responsibility for the safe, compliant and efficient day-to-day operation of a busy marina. This is a diverse role that combines facilities management, maintenance coordination, customer service and commercial responsibility, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being both operational and hands-on. The Role As Marina & Facilities Manager, you will oversee all aspects of site operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, presentation, compliance and customer experience are maintained. Key responsibilities include: Managing health & safety, compliance and risk management across the site. Undertaking and coordinating maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance programmes. Overseeing contractors and specialist service providers. Managing the upkeep and presentation of buildings, pontoons, grounds and customer facilities. Acting as the primary point of contact for berth holders, visitors and commercial tenants. Managing occupancy levels, customer enquiries and berth allocations. Monitoring site security systems and responding to operational issues. Maintaining accurate operational, compliance and financial records. Producing regular reports on occupancy, maintenance activity and site performance. Ensuring facilities remain clean, safe and welcoming at all times.About You The successful candidate will be practical, proactive and confident working independently in a fast-paced environment. You will ideally have: Experience in facilities, estate, site, marina or operational management. Strong practical maintenance skills and the ability to carry out general repairs and site upkeep. Knowledge of health & safety legislation, compliance procedures and risk assessments. Experience managing contractors and planned maintenance programmes. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong administrative and organisational abilities. Commercial awareness with a focus on customer satisfaction and occupancy management. A hands-on approach and willingness to work outdoors as required.Experience within a marina, marine, waterways, leisure, property or commercial facilities environment would be highly advantageous.
