Technical Account Executive - Leisure Marine Are you passionate about the marine industry and enjoy combining technical knowledge with customer-facing account management? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer within the marine sector for a Technical Account Executive to support a specialist range of high-performance products supplied to racing yachts, superyachts and marine professionals worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business, managing customer relationships across the UK, Europe and international markets, while playing a key role in the delivery of technically specified projects from enquiry through to completion. The Role Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be the primary commercial and technical point of contact for a portfolio of marine customers. Working closely with internal planning, production and customer service teams, you will manage projects from initial enquiry through quotation, order processing and final delivery. Key responsibilities include: Managing day-to-day relationships with marine customers across global markets. Responding to enquiries and producing accurate quotations within agreed timescales. Supporting customers with technical product selection and project specifications. Managing the full order lifecycle, from enquiry and quotation through to production, dispatch and after-sales support. Tracking projects to ensure timely delivery and proactively communicating updates to customers. Working closely with production and planning teams to resolve scheduling and delivery challenges. Identifying opportunities for repeat business, upgrades and additional sales within existing accounts. Maintaining accurate CRM and ERP records, forecasts and sales pipelines. Supporting specialist superyacht and performance sailing projects. Attending industry events, regattas, boat shows and customer visits when required. Gathering market and competitor intelligence to support business growth.About You We are looking for an organised and commercially minded individual who enjoys building customer relationships and managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will ideally have: At least 2 years' experience within account management, sales support, project coordination or a similar customer-focused role. Experience working with technical, engineered or specification-led products. Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with customers, project managers, buyers and technical stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple projects effectively. Experience using CRM and business systems. A full driving licence and valid passport. A willingness to travel occasionally, including some weekends during busy event periods.Desirable Experience Knowledge of the marine, superyacht, sailing or performance sports sectors. Experience within manufacturing, production or technical project environments. Understanding of rope, rigging or deck hardware products. A second European language. Active sailing experience.
