An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Duty Manager to join a dedicated team at a leading marina-based facility in Portsmouth. This modern, purpose-built indoor dry stack is known for delivering the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Dry Stack Manager in managing the facility efficiently and safely in line with the company’s mission and values
  • Maintain and continuously improve customer service standards and onsite facilities
  • Act as Duty Manager on a rotating shift basis
  • Promote and optimise usage of the dry stack to support commercial performance
  • Foster staff development and effectively communicate any business updates

The ideal candidate will be a strong ambassador for customer service, capable of team leadership and confident decision-making. While knowledge of dry stack operations and health & safety awareness is beneficial, full training can be provided. The position also involves some outdoor work within the dry stack area. A working knowledge of boats and experience with plant machinery is advantageous but not essential. A full, clean UK driving license is required. Flexibility is essential as shifts may include weekends, bank holidays, and variable start/finish times during peak periods. The role also includes participation in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergencies, so the ability to attend site when required is important.
