We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading name in the luxury yacht sector for a Technical Aftersales Manager to support the delivery and ongoing ownership of a prestigious fleet of new motor yachts. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected team and play a key role in ensuring an exceptional experience for yacht owners from handover through to aftercare.
In this customer-facing, technically focused role, you’ll manage the entire aftersales process. Acting as the main point of contact for owners, captains, surveyors, and the shipyard, you will travel internationally to oversee commissioning, sea trials, and technical issue resolution. Your goal: ensure every owner’s journey is smooth, professional, and exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver a five-star client experience from factory handover to aftersales support
- Attend commissioning and sea trials overseas and sign off vessels pre-delivery
- Handle all warranty and technical matters, working closely with global partners
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and captains
- Monitor warranty costs and ensure efficient cost recovery
- Help shape a high-quality aftersales service offer that builds long-term client loyalty
- Strong technical knowledge of large yacht systems, construction or operations
- Experience in yacht commissioning, warranty, or service roles preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Commercial awareness and a polished, professional manner
- Must be flexible and available to travel internationally at short notice
