As our client continues to expand operations, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager with a solid understanding of finance principles to join a dynamic and growing team. You’ll be joining one of the market’s most exciting new electric engine manufacturers, currently experiencing a sustained period of growth following a highly successful period. Working closely with the COO, Office Manager, and Sales Team, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth procurement processes and delivering excellent customer service. Given the nature of the business within the marine sector, we are ideally looking for someone with industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify procurement needs, source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage purchase orders within budget.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries and proactively resolve any issues.
- Manage procurement, invoicing, and bookkeeping tasks using Odoo, including support with VAT returns and financial record keeping.
- Monitor stock levels and usage, ensuring timely reordering to avoid shortages and maintain operational continuity.
- Coordinate with freight handlers and prepare accurate import/export documentation for domestic and international shipments.
- Review incoming deliveries, manage distribution of materials, and reconcile account transactions within Odoo.
