Location: Portsmouth
We’re working with a well-established composites manufacturer on the South Coast who is looking to bring experienced Composite Laminators into their growing production team. This is a hands-on laminating role working with high-quality carbon and glass prepreg components, within a professional production environment that values accuracy, consistency, and pride in workmanship.
The Role
- Carbon & glass prepreg layup
- Bagging and de-bagging
- Autoclave operations
- Demoulding finished components
- Preparation of mould tools
- Bonding and assembly (useful but not essential)
Hours & Overtime
Standard hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30
- Friday: 08:00–15:30
39 hours per week
Overtime paid:
- Time and a third during the week
- Time and a half on Saturdays
Pay: £15 - £21p/h PAYE
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Composite Laminator
- Strong background in prepreg processes
- Ability to work to drawings, procedures, and quality standards
- Experience from Automotive or Aerospace environments is highly desirable
- Marine or other high-performance composites experience also welcomed
