Our renowned client in the Marine and Luxury Yacht industry is looking for skilled External Boat Builders to join their team and contribute to the construction and finishing of high-end yachts. This is a fantastic opportunity for hands-on boatbuilding professionals who take pride in quality craftsmanship.
What You’ll Do:
- Installing sailing hardware such as winches, cleats, tracks, and clutches
- GRP/fiberglass structure fitting, fairing, and finishing
- Fitting hull ports, marine windows, hatches, and deck gear
- Skin fitting, teak deck installation, and composite module finishing
- Conducting quality checks and snagging processes
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong boatbuilding skills with a good understanding of timber and fiberglass construction
- Experience using hand and power tools with precision
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of safe working practices and Health & Safety regulations
- Relevant City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in marine or luxury yacht construction is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and teamworking abilities
