I’m currently recruiting for a Night Marina Operative to join a friendly and committed team based in Chichester. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently at night, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and values safety and security. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the marina remains safe, secure, and well managed overnight.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Patrolling the marina
  • Carrying out safety and security checks
  • Monitoring CCTV
  • Controlling access to secure areas

Requirements:

  • Proven customer service or customer‑facing experience
  • A positive, can‑do attitude with a flexible approach to teamwork
  • The ability to work confidently both alone and as part of a team
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Confidence using, or learning to use, computer‑based systems
  • Previous experience in a similar role, or knowledge of boating and local cruising grounds, would be beneficial but isn’t essential. Full training will be provided where needed, and you’ll be supported to develop your skills and reach your potential.
  • A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.

Working Pattern:

This role operates on a 4 on / 4 off rota, working 12‑hour night shifts, including some weekends and Bank/Public Holidays.
