We’re currently recruiting for a Military Tender & Sales Coordinator to join a fast-paced, exciting team within a leading player in the marine safety sector. This is a highly diverse role that offers the right person real opportunity to make it their own and grow within the business.
Our client is a leading provider of marine safety equipment and services, supplying innovative and reliable solutions across the leisure, commercial, and military sectors. Known for their commitment to quality and technical expertise, the business has built a strong reputation as a trusted name in marine safety, both in the UK and internationally.
Working alongside the senior leadership team and the wider sales support team, this is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is highly organised, enthusiastic, and a confident communicator. You’ll be supporting leisure/commercial sales, as well as coordinating military tender processes, developing customer relationships, and playing a key role in the daily operations of the sales function.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the preparation and submission of tender bids, keeping detailed records and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Reviewing and analysing tender documents to identify new business opportunities.
- Acting as the key liaison between internal teams—coordinating pricing, technical documentation, logistics, and compliance certifications.
- Processing customer quotations and sales orders, and following up to maximise conversions.
- Building relationships with military and commercial clients, acting as a consistent point of contact.
- Providing product information, service support, and solutions to customer queries via phone, email, and occasionally in person.
This is a full time, office based role located in Southampton.
