Marina Operative – Swanwick Marina

Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off (mix of day and night shifts)

We’re looking for a Marina Operative to join the team at Swanwick Marina. This is a varied role where no two days are the same – from supporting berth holders and visitors, to keeping operations running smoothly around the clock.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering excellent customer service and being the friendly, first point of contact for marina users.
• Supporting safe and efficient daily operations, indoors and outdoors, in all weathers.
• Handling a mix of day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, to keep the marina running 24/7.
• Using IT systems to manage marina activity and maintain accurate records.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven customer service experience with a professional, “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, work independently, and as part of a supportive team.
• Confidence with IT systems (training will be provided).
• Knowledge of boats and the marine environment is desirable but not essential – enthusiasm and willingness to learn are what matter most.
