We're currently working with a well-established manufacturer within the marine industry that is looking to appoint a Technical Support Coordinator. This is a varied, hands-on position that combines technical problem-solving with field-based support work. You'll be supporting a wide range of marine products, working closely with customers, boat builders, and internal teams to deliver first-class technical support and service. Alongside the technical aspects of the role, you'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, managing service documentation, and ensuring all customer enquiries and support activities are effectively tracked and communicated.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries and support requests, ensuring timely communication and resolution
- Maintain accurate customer records, service reports, and technical documentation
- Coordinate service visits, commissioning schedules, and follow-up actions where required
- Process warranty claims and related administration accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all customer interactions and technical activities are recorded within internal systems
The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, coupled with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities. They will have a genuine interest in the marine industry and possess excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, they will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will also be flexible and willing to travel at short notice when required and must hold a full UK driving licence.
