We’re recruiting a Copy Writer to join a growing, technically focused organisation that produces a high volume of written content across multiple departments. While there is strong writing capability internally, this business is now looking to introduce a central editorial function to bring consistency, clarity and quality to everything it publishes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career communicator with excellent fundamentals who is keen to develop their editorial skillset. You’ll work across engineering, operations, commercial and leadership teams to refine content, improve clarity and ensure consistency across all outputs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Editing and refining written contributions from a wide range of internal stakeholders, including engineers, operational teams and senior leaders
  • Ensuring consistency of tone, structure and accuracy across documents, presentations, briefs and internal communications
  • Supporting customer presentations, web content, internal updates, LinkedIn content and leadership messaging
  • Applying editorial standards and tone-of-voice frameworks developed during your training period
  • Taking part in interviews with senior leaders and subject matter experts to help extract insight and shape messaging
  • Supporting the development of tone-of-voice guidelines, messaging pillars and editorial standards
  • Gradually taking ownership of editorial workflows, becoming the central quality control point for written material
