Leisure Marine Export Sales Manager
Based in Hailsham, East Sussex with international travel
Are you passionate about the leisure marine world and experienced in driving international sales? We’re working with a leading global manufacturer in the marine industry to find an Export Sales Manager to strengthen their Leisure Marine division.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, enjoys time on the water, and is motivated by growing sales across international markets.
The Role
- Develop and grow international B2B sales, working with distributors, agents, OEMs and retailers.
- Plan and manage overseas trips to meet clients and identify new business opportunities (~30% international travel).
- Build strong, long-term relationships and business plans with distributors to help them expand their markets.
- Sell both technical products and the brand itself, presenting solutions to customers ranging from small chandleries to large OEMs.
- Report into and collaborate with a small, dynamic team who are passionate about innovation and growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in successful B2B sales of manufactured or distributed products.
- Strong relationship-builder with the ability to overcome objections and provide solutions.
- Comfortable with international travel and managing time away from home.
- Ideally experience working with distributors/agents in Europe or beyond.
- A keen interest in leisure marine activities (sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, dinghy sailing, yachting, etc.) would be a real advantage.
- Good IT skills, including MS Office and CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
- Technical or engineering background beneficial but not essential.
