Overview
We are seeking an experienced Boat Builder to join a leading marine manufacturer on a contract basis in Cowes. This role is ideal for someone with strong craftsmanship skills and a background in building high-quality marine vessels.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of boat building including fitting, joinery, and structural work
- Work from technical drawings and specifications
- Ensure work is completed to high-quality standards and within project timelines
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Boat Builder or Marine Technician
- Strong skills in one or more areas: GRP/composites, fitting, joinery, or structural assembly
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- Reliability and ability to meet weekly hour targets
- Own tools preferred but not essential
