We’re currently supporting a well‑established marina operator in the search for a Marina & Maintenance Operative to join their team in Chichester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands‑on, varied role and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal position for someone looking to develop their experience within the marina and boatyard environment.
Working as part of a friendly and professional team, you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of the marina and maintenance operations, helping ensure customers receive a first‑class experience.
The role
This is an outdoor, physically active role working across both marina and maintenance operations throughout the year. The position operates on a seasonal rota, which includes some weekends, Bank Holidays and occasional night work.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or customer‑facing experience
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- Confidence learning and using computer systems
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience or knowledge of boats, marinas or general property maintenance would be advantageous, although not essential.
