Are you looking to build a career in the marine industry? Do you enjoy variety, responsibility, and working as part of a dedicated team? If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. We are seeking to recruit a Marina Operative to join a friendly and professional team at Brighton Marina. This role offers a dynamic working environment where no two days are the same. Full training will be provided, enabling you to develop valuable new skills while helping to deliver an outstanding customer experience. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position involving a range of duties across the marina. The rota includes some weekends and bank holidays.
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, customer-focused, and confident communicating with a wide range of people
- Comfortable using computer systems, electronic point of sale systems, and processing financial transactions
- Positive, enthusiastic, and a strong team player
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors in a busy marine environment, including in adverse weather
- Reliable, adaptable, and keen to learn
- Able to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and bank holidays
- Experienced in boating or marina operations (beneficial but not required)
- Able to speak French or Dutch (advantageous but not essential)
Experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow.
