You'll play an important part in keeping essential equipment safe, reliable and operating efficiently, carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance alongside responding to breakdowns. The role is based at Swanwick, with travel to sites across the South Coast.

The Role

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and has a logical approach to fault-finding and problem-solving. You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in electrical fault-finding and repair, preferably within plant, machinery or a similar environment.
  • Strong mechanical maintenance and repair skills.
  • Experience working with engines, hydraulic systems, pressure systems or mechanical components.
  • Confidence using a range of hand and power tools, including grinders.
  • An understanding of risk assessments and safe working practices, particularly when working outdoors.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to maintenance, with a focus on safe and effective repairs.
