Opportunity Reporting to the Leisure Manager, you will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional leisure and wellness experience for our guests and members. From maintaining our facilities to providing a warm and professional welcome, you will help ensure every interaction reflects the Marine & Lawn standard of hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and preparing gym and leisure equipment to the highest standards
  • Ensuring all poolside and wellness areas are clean, safe, and impeccably presented
  • Monitoring pool water quality and maintaining plant equipment including filters, pumps, heating, and ventilation systems
  • Responding calmly and professionally to incidents and supporting guest safety throughout the leisure facilities
  • Supervising changing areas, checking lockers, and ensuring all guest areas remain organised and welcoming
  • Managing spa bookings and memberships using our computerised booking systems
  • Handling guest enquiries in person, by telephone, and via email with professionalism and warmth
  • Promoting and upselling memberships, spa experiences, and wellness offerings
  • Supporting the achievement of monthly membership and sales targets
  • Completing opening and closing procedures in line with operational standards

Qualifications

  • Pool Responder or Lifeguard qualifications (preferred, although training can be provided)
  • A good understanding of the health, fitness, and wellness industry
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Gym Instructor qualification (desirable)
  • Pool plant operation experience (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, team‑focused attitude and a proactive approach to service
