As a Breakfast Chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality breakfasts that get our guests’ day off to the best start. You’ll manage your section efficiently and ensure every plate leaves the kitchen looking and tasting great.
Position Statement: As Breakfast Chef you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and servicing an elevated breakfast offering for the restaurant and in-room dining.
- Ensuring that the highest culinary standards are maintained at all times.
- Carrying out all service standards and the efficient operation of the kitchen function pre and post service.
- Preparing mise-en-place.
- Preparing daily Team Member lunch.
- Assisting the kitchen team during busy service periods as and when required.
- Ensuring quality standards and procedures are fully understood and implemented, carrying out daily checking procedures.
- Maintaining effective communication and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining an effective operation to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensuring a safe environment is maintained in compliance with health, safety, fire, and hygiene.
Essential Criteria:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate a flair and passion for food and food presentation.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to deliver exceptional standards in a pressurised environment.
- Hold a recognised, current Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Previous experience within a similar role.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience within a hotel environment.
