We are looking for a creative and commercially driven Marketing Manager to join the team at Marine Hotel Ballycastle on a temporary contract.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the hotel’s marketing strategy, increasing brand awareness, driving room bookings and promoting our restaurant, events and guest experiences.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and has a passion for travel and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Planning Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with business goals Identify target markets (leisure, weddings, corporate) and tailor campaigns accordingly Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights Digital Marketing Manage the hotel’s website, ensuring content is up to date, engaging, and optimised for SEO & GEO.

Plan and execute digital campaigns across channels such as Instagram, Facebook, and Google Ads Oversee email marketing campaigns and CRM activity Content & Brand Management Create compelling content (copy, images, video) that reflects the brand identity Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials Manage PR & influencer opportunities, media relations, and partnerships Sales & Revenue Support Work closely with the revenue and sales teams to drive occupancy and revenue Promote special offers, packages, and seasonal campaigns Track campaign performance and ROI, adjusting strategies as needed Events & Local Partnerships Promote weddings, conferences, and local events hosted at the hotel Build relationships with local tourism bodies and businesses to increase visibility Skills & Experience Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably in hospitality Strong digital marketing skills (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Creative mindset with strong attention to detail Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimise campaigns Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently Qualifications Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred) Relevant certifications in digital marketing are a plus What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Opportunity to shape and grow the brand of a well-known coastal hotel Supportive team environment Staff benefits and discounts If you are an adaptable and enthusiastic marketing professional who can make an immediate impact, we would love to hear from you.
