We are seeking an experienced Quality Controller to maintain and improve our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation.
Main Duties
- Quality Management System (QMS)
- Maintain and update QMS documentation in line with ISO 9001 (or other applicable standards)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
- Audits & Compliance
- Plan and conduct internal audits
- Co‑ordinate external audits and certification processes
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement corrective actions
- Training & Awareness
- Deliver quality‑related training to staff
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Reporting
- Provide regular quality performance reports to senior management
- Track KPIs and implement improvement plans
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Quality Controller or similar role
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
- Experience with internal and external audits
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good Microsoft (Office) skills
Role Details
- Employed and Self‑Employed considered
- 8‑12 Hours per month
- Salary dependent on experience
- Location: Vittlefields Technology Centre, Forest Road, Newport, Isle of Wight
