Community Fundraising Manager Flexible working in the UK About Us The Marine Conservation Society fights for the future of our ocean through people-powered action with science on our side. For seas full of life, where nature flourishes and people thrive. We are now looking for a Community Fundraising Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week. The Role As a Community Fundraising Manager, youll generate and grow our income by spearheading a range of dynamic community fundraising initiatives. Specifically, youll plan and deliver an exciting portfolio of activities that captivate and engage people, showcasing the impact of our work. Leading and inspiring your team, youll also create innovative fundraising products, expand our supporter base, and deliver outstanding stewardship that keeps our supporters connected and motivated. Additionally, you will: – Oversee the community fundraising budget, keeping income and costs on track – Cultivate a network of fundraising champions, building strong and supportive relationships – Partner with Comms and Marketing teams to create exciting promotional content – Ensure fundraising activities meet GDPR, charity law, and ethical standards About You To be considered as a Community Fundraising Manager, you will need: – A proven track record in community fundraising or a similar field, with demonstrated success in meeting financial targets and income growth – Experience supporting the development of 35-year strategic plans – Experience managing budgets and delivering annual operational plans – Demonstrable knowledge and experience of CRM systems and GDPR compliance – Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills – Strong planning and organisational abilities to manage a busy workload – Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal The closing date for this role is Midnight on the 19th of January 2025.
