The Marine Conservation Society is a leading UK environmental charity dedicated to protecting our ocean – defending crucial habitats, regenerating vital ecosystems and inspiring volunteers. We unite communities, governments, and industry, and champion science‑based solutions for cleaner, healthier seas to tackle the climate and nature emergency.

The Role

As a Brand & Content Designer you will create engaging visual content that brings the Society’s mission to life. The role is creative, fast‑paced and allows you to influence policy and public support through powerful design.

Responsibilities

  • Produce engaging graphics, video and interactive content for digital channels
  • Create high‑impact digital and printed resources
  • Act as a brand custodian, maintaining a consistent visual identity across assets
  • Collaborate with passionate environmentalists, creatives and change‑makers
  • Manage workflows and schedules to deliver projects on time
  • Keep ahead of design trends and digital innovations

Qualifications

  • Experience creating content within a defined brand identity
  • Proven design expertise across digital and print, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, versatility and attention to detail
  • Excellent video editing and production skills, especially for social media audiences
  • High proficiency in design software and an in‑depth knowledge of the latest digital technologies and tools
  • Excellent collaborative skills to work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
