The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
Part of the technical team of the Marine Care Group.
Provide remote and/or on-site cleaning and technical advice.
Performing super cargo services onboard - various cleaning from water white to wall wash standards, dirty to clean etc.
Supporting chemical sales by assisting and joining the commercial teams during client visits for technical/cleaning support.
Boarding vessels to give product usage support.
Be an advisor to the R&D group of Marine Care in the practical use of chemicals and cleaning procedures onboard and join vessels to test newly developed products in clean ability and effect ability.
Provide trainings on chemicals, equipment, and cleaning to both in-house staff and carry out client/crew trainings.
Understanding all marine care product range and build up technical knowledge to advise internal team and clients.
Handle client queries with regards to cleaning advice, product usage, troubleshooting and complaints.
Willingness to travel frequently as needed for onboard jobs.
Assist with other ad-hoc technical and commercial tasks.
REQUIREMENT
Minimum 5 years of tank cleaning experience either onboard or in supercargo capacity cleaning various grades of CPP, palms, dirty cargoes etc. sailed as C/O or master onboard preferred.
Extensive knowledge of chemical tanker operations and tank cleaning chemicals handling and ship operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong command over English both verbal and written.
Able to communicate effectively and experience working with multicultural teams and handle diverse crew onboard.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ideal position for a candidate who can work independently and be a team player and help and guide the team through their experience and knowledge.
Experience working in a corporate environment and email handling will be added advantage.
