Your Role as Chef de Partie
As a Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of your section within the kitchen, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining standards, supporting junior team members, and contributing to an efficient and professional kitchen environment.
What You’ll Do
- Run your section effectively, preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver smooth and efficient service
- Support and develop Commis Chefs and junior team members
- Assist with stock control, rotation, and ordering
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times
- Contribute ideas for menus and daily specials, reflecting seasonal produce and guest demand
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Demi Chef ready to step up
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- A genuine passion for fresh food and quality presentation
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- A team-focused approach with good communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
