We arelooking for a warm, caring and committed individual to join our team as anAttendance Intervention Lead, with the opportunity to make a genuine differenceto the lives of children and their families.
Workingclosely with our attendance and wider school teams, you will provide individualand small-group support to students who are experiencing barriers to attendingschool. You will take the time to get to know each young person, understand thechallenges they may be facing and help them to feel safe, supported andconfident in returning to and engaging with school.
A keypart of the role will be working closely with families. This may includemaintaining regular communication with parents and carers, offering updates andsupport, and undertaking home visits where appropriate to better understand andhelp remove barriers to attendance. We are looking for someone who can approachthese conversations with empathy, sensitivity and genuine warmth, while alwaysmaintaining positive and professional relationships.
You willalso support students through targeted interventions, both individually and insmall groups, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs. You willmonitor progress, provide feedback and work collaboratively with colleagues toensure that students receive the right support at the right time. The role willalso include some administrative responsibilities, communication with parentsand staff, and contributing to the wider life of the school.
