The Role The Email Marketing Specialist/Deployment Specialist plays a key role in executing cross-channel marketing campaigns through our proprietary web-based platform, working on behalf of many of the largest brands in the world. Responsibilities include owning the day-to-day process of email and marketing campaigns, building database segments, generating and maintaining reports, and ensuring quality assurance. The role requires excellent communication skills for direct interface with clients via email and phone. This position reports directly to the Manager of Campaign Services. What You’ll Do: (Required) Execute, test, and deploy email marketing campaigns using our proprietary, web-based application. Build database segments based on client and account team instructions. Perform quality assurance on all campaigns. Document and communicate potentially complex solutions to clients in a timely manner. Tactfully relay technical information to a non-technical audience. Organize and prioritize multiple projects and customer deadlines with minimal oversight. About You You are an entry-level, detail-oriented, efficient, dependable, and a collaborative team player with a positive “can-do” professional attitude. Experience with an interactive or agency background is a plus, but Cheetah will provide training to develop necessary skills. A sense of humor, strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and positive outlook are valued traits. Ideal Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in an email marketing role. Basic knowledge of HTML language. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite Apps. Strong understanding of relational data, querying/filtering, and segmentation. Ability to meet deadlines while demonstrating enthusiasm for clients and team. Ability to provide production status updates and troubleshoot issues independently or seek assistance when needed.
