Ever been told you have a calming presence or you\’re great at putting individuals at ease simply by being there?
We\’d love to tell you about our Companion Volunteer role taking place at the QE Hospital in Birmingham
What you\’ll do:
- Visit different patients at QE Birmingham Hospital
- Each visit may be with a different person, offering variety and new conversations
- Share a cup of tea, a chat, or simply quiet companionship
- Listen to stories, memories, or just talk about the everyday
You don\’t have to have all the answers – it\’s all about showing up with kindness and presence.
You\’d be a great fit if you\’re:
- A patient and non-judgmental listener
