We are looking for a volunteer to help the catering team provide tasty meals and snacks for patients, relatives, staff and other volunteers in the hospice café.

Your role will include some of, but is not restricted to, the following tasks:

  • Operate the till and handle cash
  • Serve staff, patients, volunteers and the general public refreshments
  • Clear the tables and keep them clean as and when required
  • Maintain stocks of condiments and other items
  • Keep the café clean and tidy
  • Help with other related tasks when necessary

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in a charity environment, with induction, training, ongoing support and supervision provided, as well as reimbursement for agreed reasonable out-of-pocket expenses.
