Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our community team in Hampshire and work towards providing holistic, person‑centred end‑of‑life care and support in patients’ homes. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and assisting with skin integrity and personal hygiene, supporting nutrition, facilitating comfort and rest, providing mobility support, and maintaining a clean care environment. As a Healthcare Assistant you will practice empathetic communication and provide high‑quality personal care to enhance wellbeing.
Contract & Working Hours
Permanent, full‑time or reduced hours. Day shifts: Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays.
Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Salary & Benefits
Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, Band 2 (ÂŁ24,465 per annum plus enhancements).

What We’re Looking For
- At least six months recent experience providing care in a health or social care environment, including end‑of‑life care.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred).
- Person‑centred, compassionate attitude.
- Ability to develop and evaluate care management plans.
- Emotional resilience and capacity to work independently.
- Valid driving licence and access to a car for travel to patient homes.
