We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work with our multidisciplinary team in in Lincolnshire. You will be a key member of the team, providing holistic, person-centred end-of-life care to people in their homes. Your responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality nursing care for people living with a terminal illness and those important to them. We are looking for compassionate professionals committed to providing comprehensive support to individuals and their loved ones during the most critical times of their lives., As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care, ensuring dignity, respect and individual choice are central to every interaction with patients and those important to them.

You will develop strong links across the wider health and care system, increasing your understanding of the services available and working collaboratively with other professionals and providers. Through these relationships, you will help patients and families access appropriate support while contributing to improvements in the experience of dying, death and bereavement.

Using your clinical expertise and professional judgement, you will deliver safe and effective direct patient care while working within relevant legal, ethical, capability and clinical frameworks. You will practise in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code and Marie Curie policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.

Marie Curie is the UKs leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, the only provider across all 4 nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, while providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end-of-life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness, they are likely to die from.

The care and support we provide is highly valued by the people we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reaching around 10% of dying people at the end of life. Right now, one in four people in the UK with a terminal illness, do not get the care or support they deserve at the end of their lives. We want a different society than the one we live in now. Our mission for the next five years is to close the gap in the number of people missing out on what they need at the end-of-life.
