Are you a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant looking for a role where your care can make a meaningful difference every day? Join our community team in Lincolnshire and help provide personalised, dignified end-of-life care that supports people to remain at home, including in residential homes.

In this rewarding role, you will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, helping people feel safe, comfortable and respected at a highly important time in their lives. You will support individual care plans by assisting with personal care, skin integrity, nutrition and hydration, mobility, rest and sleep, and maintaining a clean and safe care environment.

Main duties of the job

You will play an important role in monitoring each persons wellbeing, recognising and responding to changes in their physical or emotional condition. Working within the agreed care plan, you will support symptom management, communicate relevant observations and promptly escape any concerns to registered healthcare professionals.

You will also provide calm, compassionate and reassuring support to patients and those important to them. By listening to individual needs and preferences, you will help ensure people feel heard, respected and supported, while promoting dignity, comfort, choice and wellbeing.

If you are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care, this is an opportunity to use your experience and compassion to make a meaningful difference to people and families when it matters most. We would love to hear from you.

Marie Curie is the UKs leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, the only provider across all 4 nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, while providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end-of-life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness, they are likely to die from.
