About Marie-Chantal
Founded in 2000 by Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, Marie-Chantal is a globally recognised luxury childrenswear and family gifting brand, renowned for timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship, and modern heritage. We're a close-knit team based in West London, passionate about delivering a best-in-class experience to our customers around the world.
The Role
We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Ecommerce Executive to join our digital team. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, you'll play a hands-on role in the day-to-day running of our Shopify store and marketplaces – from product uploads and site merchandising to customer service and performance reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their ecommerce career who wants real ownership and variety, within a brand with a genuine point of difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Management & Merchandising: Managing and maintaining product listings on Shopify, ensuring all copy, imagery, and pricing is accurate, on-brand, and consistently presented. Assisting with website maintenance – seasonal landing pages, banners, promotional updates, and navigation changes – keeping the site fresh and commercially relevant. Supporting the wider ecommerce team with site improvements and ongoing optimisation of the customer journey.
- Campaigns & Promotions: Supporting the implementation of seasonal campaigns, new collection launches, and promotional activity across the site and marketplaces. Coordinating with the marketing team to ensure product information and creative assets are updated and live on time.
- Customer Service: Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries across email and other channels, responding promptly and with the warmth and professionalism that reflects the Marie-Chantal brand. Resolving order issues, returns, and complaints with care, keeping customers informed at every stage and escalating where necessary.
- Order Management & Fulfilment: Monitoring daily orders and working closely with the logistics team to ensure smooth, timely fulfilment. Identifying and resolving any fulfilment issues proactively, minimising customer impact.
- Marketplace Management: Managing our marketplace presence across key partners — maintaining listings, processing orders, responding to customer queries, and ensuring the brand is represented consistently across every channel. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with marketplace contacts, identifying opportunities to improve visibility, content, and performance.
- Reporting & Analytics: Tracking key performance metrics including traffic, conversion, AOV, and sales, and contributing to regular reporting for the wider team. Assisting in identifying trends and flagging opportunities or issues to support data-driven decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in ecommerce, digital retail, or customer service.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify (or a comparable platform).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication.
- An understanding of luxury customer expectations and brand standards.
- Comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience in luxury or childrenswear is a bonus, not a requirement.
Benefits
- Hybrid working – Monday to Thursday in our Chelsea office, Fridays from home.
- 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Pension contribution.
- Generous staff discount across Marie-Chantal.
- Modern workplace with cafe and communal spaces, with regular community events.
- A supportive, collaborative team culture with real scope for growth.
